    In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of how to approach a doorstep conversation so you can be confident in accurately recording the person's voting intention.

    It explains why we canvass, what we do with the information and it also gives you the information on how to turn out your target audience on polling day to ensure success at the ballot box!

  • Wed 8 Mar 2017: CWO NATIONAL CONFERENCE & AGM

    Join us for the CWO Conference and AGM 2017 on International Women's Day - Wednesday 8th March 2017.

    This year's theme will be 'Education Empowering Women'.

    The Conference and AGM will be held in the Stephenson Room at Broadway House, Tothill Street in Westminster - directly opposite St James' Park Underground Station (Circle Line) and just down from Victoria Station and the Palace of Westminster. The venue has free WiFi.

    The day will start with conference registration from 10:00am with refreshments, followed by expert panels and keynote speeches from Ministers, MPs, Peers, NGOs and unions. Lunch will be at about 12:30pm, just in time for the Budget!

    Hot on the heels of our sell-out first event, this is the second 2017 London seminar of Make It Your Business.

    Aimed particularly at women who might be thinking of starting their own business, it is designed to demystify the process and help 'would be' female entrepreneurs on their way, with the emphasis on practical advice and support from those who have already trodden the path.

    The evening will take the form of a panel discussion among four women business owners, moderated by entrepreneur and broadcaster Alison Cork.
