Barbara Postles Barbara has been an active member of the Conservative Party since 1971. She has held a wide range of roles including constituency officer, professional secretary to a grouping of three associations, agent for local, London and parliamentary elections and, on secondment from Central Office, by-election mutual aid officer for Theresa May and Philip Hammond when they fought the Barking and Newham North East constituencies respectively.

Barbara was also Print Shop Administrator for Greater London – running a print shop for over forty constituencies and between 1991 and 1999 she was Personal Assistant and Secretary to David Trowbridge, Head of the Local Government Department at Smith Square, where her role included assisting with the organisation and running of the National Local Government Conference.

Barbara's involvement with CWO spans many years and from 2004 to 2011, she worked at CCHQ as one of CWO's national administrators.

Barbara has, with the exception of three years spent in the USA, lived in London all her life. In addition to her political experience she has an extensive commercial background having worked in, amongst other areas and organisations, banking, the retail sector, for an outplacement employment company and for the Country Landowner's Association.
