This forum is kindly hosted by Helen Whately MP for Faversham and Mid-West Kent and Deputy Chair of the Conservative Party who has done so much to sponsor the voice of CWO and all the women it represents. Especially recommended for those who want to get involved in politics #AskHerToStand and would like their voices to be heard to achieve a 50:50 parliament.

Women wait to be asked, The Forum #Askhertostand event is to encourage women to stand for public life and to get new high calibre women into politics. If you would like to recommend someone special, please do let me know, as this event is free, but numbers are limited, and security checked.

The event is to recognise one hundred years of the CWO and Women in Parliament, followed by a tribute to past political National Treasure and First Lady in Parliament, Emily Pankhurst, a Wreath in Her Memory, laid by her own Matrilineal Descendant, Helen Pankhurst, in Victoria Tower Gardens, neighbouring the Palace of Westminster. The event will start at 4:00pm followed by Wreath laying at 6:00pm


Please use the Cromwell Green Entrance, at the front of the Houses of Parliament. Ensure you leave enough time to clear through security as it can take up to 30 minutes during busy times and bring an umbrella if needed, as you maybe queueing outside.
