| Tuesday 23rd Sept 6-7.30. Zoom. Silver session 4. Re listers will take priority if demand is high. How to test your leadership skills and present them in a political setting and interview process. How to present your experience as political and how to articulate your leadership and skills. What might the new expectations of the candidates department be? Understand how your political CV helps you shape your approach to interviews and becoming a candidate again. Being honest about your weaknesses and if you are really ready for the new list. You will be expected to submit a short 2 page political CV in advance of the session, NOT your full political CV. This course is a useful understanding of your skills, your authentic motivations, and what leadership you have. It aims to help you develop self awareness and resilience. Politics is both about luck and ability and you need both to succeed. The link will be sent out on the day. Numbers are limited for this course, but it is repeated in October and by demand so do keep in touch. |
Tip: Membership of CWO is free but you must be logged on before booking. Please email cwo@conservatives.com for problems signing in. It can take a few days to check emails as we are all volunteers. Refunds are given but please let us know 24 hours in advance so your place can be offered to someone else. Please note all refunds can take up to a month so please be patient. We are all volunteers and dont work 5 days a week.

We also recommend that you practice your interview speech and speech skills in general by setting up a CWO local speech club with your local CWO or Area CWO, so you can practice together. Finally we recommend the Silver paid for on line sessions starting with What is a political CV and what leadership skills do I need, and the paid for Is my Political CV ready/ understanding my skills and experience for interviews. It is surprising how many women think they dont need to invest in themselves, where men are happy to pay for support. CWO is a not for profit organisation, and all charges are used to cover costs of delivery only. |
