CWO @ SCC25 – Scottish Conservative Party Conference

Our Scottish CWO Chairman, Alix Mathieson, reports back from Scottish Conservative Party Conference, where the CWO not only had a standing-room only panel, but also a fantastically well-visited stand.

Our panel, Tax Burden or Tax Freedom: Scotland’s Economic Crossroads, featured Meghan Gallacher MSP, Harriet Cross MP, Cllr Iain Gall, Cllr Julie Pirone and our very own Cllr Alix Mathieson, CWO Regional Chairman.

The panel debated not only the economic challenges being faced by businesses across the region, but also the campaign against the Family Farm tax that MP Harriet Cross is heavily involved with.

Our stand was well-visited, with Deputy Chairman Tracy Stones lending a hand and supporting our Scottish CWO team. Thank you to all of our team for their work in supporting women in Scotland to enter political life.
