Sherrel Fikeis, newly appointed CWO West Midlands Chairman, is pleased to share her write-up of the West Midlands AGM, held on a sunny Saturday in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Our 2025 AGM was held in the historical and beautiful town of Stratford-upon-Avon, kindly hosted by Nikki Bell. Two great and inspiring speakers attended: National Chairman Louise Brice, who travelled from Kent, and Yvonne Clements, our past Chair, who was stepping down.
We are grateful to Yvonne for her usual uplifting speech, and all of her hard work over the past year, and we look forward to working with Louise throughout the year.
It was great to see so many members attending – seeing old friends and meeting new ones with their continuing passion for the work we do in CWO and the different ways we help women in the our party. We are particularly grateful to Susan Coleman, National Deputy Chairman and West Midlands CWO President, for her support and organisation of the event.
We have a great deal of work ahead and I look forward to working with the team to take up the challenges going forward.
Congratulations and thanks to all the new Officers for stepping up to the challenge.
