Tuesday 4th of Nov. zoom. The final Silver session in the CWO cycle, for Re-listers and those who think they are ready to apply. It includes; How to present your experience as political and how to articulate your leadership and skills. What might the new expectations of the candidates department be? Understand how your political CV helps you shape your approach to interviews and getting on the candidates list. Being honest about your weaknesses and if you are really ready. The party is looking for the best are you ready for interview?. You will be expected to submit a short 2 page political CV in advance of the session (please not your application for seats CV). This course is a useful understanding of your skills, your authentic motivations, and what leadership you have, and helps you develop self awareness regarding if you are really ready to get back on the list. The link will be sent out on the day. Numbers are limited for this course but it will be repeated.
| Tip: To get the most out of the CWO Development sessions we recommend that this be taken in conjunction with the Free Silver level Why a I a Conservative, and the Free Silver level Getting Started in Politics where news on the latest information is given. We also recommend that you practice your interview speech and speech skills in general by setting up a CWO local speech club with your local or Area CWO so you can practice together. Finally we recommend the Silver paid for on line sessions starting with What is a political CV and what leadership skills do I need. It is surprising how many women think they dont need to invest in themselves, where men are happy to pay for support. |
