Tuesday February 3rd, 6-7.30 on zoom £40. Silver session Two. What is a political CV and what leadership skills do I need to show in a political CV. It is aimed at those starting on their journey to be an MP, and for those relisting who want to recheck the core skill requirements. The session includes: How to identify your key skills and the leadership experiences that count in politics. How to identify your audience/the voter. How do you build a political voice overtime? What personal and professional experiences are useful and why women and some men under estimate their experiences? This course is suitable for those wanting to understand the journey of a candidate and how to convert your work CV into a political CV. It will help you begin to write election pamphlets, consider if you are ready to apply to the Assessment Board, or for Cllr interviews or if you have the skills to be an Association Chairman. This session is for small groups only. You will be expected to write a short 2 page political CV afterwards. feedback on your CV will be given . The zoom link will be sent out at midday on the day.
