With a special introduction by Rt Hon Theresa May MP. There is still time to apply for the 2021 elections and for the 2022 ones being selected next year.

The CWO, with Conservative Friends of India, Conservative Friends of Pakistan & Conservative Friends of the Chinese, are delighted to invite our experienced panellists to talk about how important it is for women to stand forward from all backgrounds, what it is like being a Councillor, and how to go about applying.

Rt Hon Theresa May MP served as a councillor in the London Borough of Merton for 8 years before being becoming the Member of Parliament for Maidenhead in 1997. She became Home Secretary in 2010 and went on to become Prime Minister in 2016. Currently on the backbench, she remains an excellent constituency MP. More about Rt Hon Theresa May here.

Cllr Seema Kumar was elected councillor for the Ealing Broadway Ward in 2014 and was Deputy Mayor for Ealing borough in 2008. Seema is also the National Treasurer for the CWO. More about Seema here.
