CWO Yorkshire is looking for more women to step forward in to public life and come and join us in networking, support and training.

In this session find out how being a councillor can help you develop your political skills, how you can serve your community, and how even fighting a losing seat is fun.  There is still time to apply for the 2021 elections and for the 2022 ones being selected next year.  Our experienced panellists speak about how important it is for women to stand forward from all backgrounds, what it is like being a councillor, and how to go about applying.

Hosted by Fleur Butler, the panel is made up of Stewart Harper, Yorkshire Regional Chairman for the Conservative Party, Cllr David Hall, Leader of Conservatives on Kirklees Council, and Cllr Janet Jackson, portfolio holder for Young People, North Yorkshire County Council.
