We were delighted to be invited to No.10 to discuss opportunities and barriers to women getting involved in Politics on International Women’s Day. The Round Table discussion was organised by the Party Chairman and included a number of CWO officers and members, as well as women with a range of policy and political experiences. It was wonderful to hear from Natalie Elphicke MP who chaired the discussion.
There were also a number of CWO members at a later event organised by 50:50 Parliament which enabled us to hear from MP’s from all parties to share their experiences and encourage more women to become involved in Public Life.
