Wantage CWO Dinner with Rt Hon Nadhim Zahawi MP, Secretary of State for Education

We are excited to be hosting this summer’s evening talk and supper in the beautiful Oxford University surroundings at St. Hilda’s College Oxford.

Come join members from across Oxfordshire at this prestigious venue to listen to Nadhim Zahawi – MP for Stratford-on-Avon and Secretary of State for Education. From his roots in Baghdad in Iraq, to his work on founding YouGov to his role as the vaccines minister on the rollout of the COVID vaccination program, Nadhim is one of the rising starts of the modern Conservative Party.

• Talk from 7.15pm
• Seasonal three-course dinner from 8pm

Starter

1. Pea, saffron and parmesan arancini, smoked garlic and chive aioli
2. Chargrilled nectarine with heritage tomato and mozzarella salad, basil and sherry vinegar (V)

Main

1. Braised Lamb Shank burnt butter cream potato and rich jus
2. Homemade risotto made to match the season (V)
3. Baked sea trout, salad potatoes in chervil butter

Dessert

1. Brown sugar Pavlova topped with sugared figs and berries
2. Lemon posset tart topped with salted caramel popcorn
